Aboriginal Clients
Understanding barriers from a historical,
spiritual and cultural standpoint is
important to keeping our spirit and culture
strong.
Our programs engage Aboriginal
participants in developing life skills to
bring about positive change in their lives
through identifying barriers and protective
factors that effect their social and
emotional wellbeing.
Consultancy
We work in partnership with organisations
to improve health outcomes and
opportunities for Aboriginal people
through developing culturally appropriate
policies, protocols and practices.
Organisations
We provide information, resources and
strategies specifically for working with
Aboriginal people in addition to exploring
ways of doing things “differently” from an
organisational position that is culturally
inclusive and appropriate.
Aboriginal Workforce
• Cultural supervision provides a culturally safe and confidential space for
Aboriginal workers to build their knowledge and skills of how to support
their clients and community, with a strong focus on self care to reduce
worker burnout and stress related leave.
Non-Aboriginal Workforce
• Cultural supervision provides a safe and confidential space for
non-Aboriginal workers to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence
in working with Aboriginal people and communities within a relevant
cultural framework.
